I really like this place as it is quite comfy and cosy with warm served home cooked food. The dishes are fairly large in portion and it seems like a great place to come by with group of friends or families. One can choose to order from a variety of ala carte list or even the singular noodle/rice dishes. The environment can be quite noisy as expected of family gathering restaurants, but in the few times I've been here - it is tolerable.
Ginger & Spring Onion Venison - Very tender meat, perfect to be accompanied by a bowl of rice
Kam- Heong Mantis Prawn - Not to my liking. Think it is a bit too fried-up. Will give it another shot in my next visit
Salted-egg Tofu - Interesting dish, not too salty and fried to perfection
Kang-Kung Belacan - Not too spicy and balanced in taste. The belacan did not overpower the vege freshness thus a thumbs-up dish!
Bayam in "ying-yang" gravy - Would have been nicer if they place some Goji berries to add to the sweetness of the gravy
Salted-egg Chicken Wings - Dish of the day! Yummy and two thumbs up. Definitely the must have when you visit!
